thunderstorms in the area. On Sunday July 3rd 2011 Bad weather forced
organizers to call the show off at the last minute. Frontman Adam
Levine posted a series of messages on Twitter leading up to the concert
warning fans the gig could be scrapped. He wrote, "Crazy thunder and
lightning in St. Louis. Sounds like God is not in the mood to hear
Maroon 5 tonight... Not sure about the show yet. Just want to let you
all know that it's not our call... we will keep you posted." After
finally learning the event had been axed, Levine apologised to fans,
adding, "Just watched the local news report that Fair St. Louis has
been cancelled due to weather. I'm so sorry guys. This sucks. Again we
are so sorry about this. Unfortunately it was completely out of our
control. We owe you one St. Louis."Artists playing other nights Steve
Miller Band and Montgomery Gentry as well as the fireworks and air show
